I am a gallery professional with a depth of experience, ranging from managing exhibitions and registration to producing publications and curating. I am passionate about best practice and international museum standards for all aspects of exhibitions and have a broad experience in issues related to loans, transport, insurance and immunity from seizure. I have managed international loans and transport both for contemporary and historic works.

As the Exhibitions Manager at Ikon (Birmingham, UK) I co-ordinate the successful implementation of Ikon’s temporary exhibitions, publications and commissions.

Alongside my work at Ikon I have also developed a freelance writing, curating and producing career. I have managed and curated many different types of exhibitions ranging from solo shows to group surveys, commissions, offsite projects and festival strands.
As an independent curator I am interested in memory, geography, globalisation, migration, identity, politics, trauma and economy in relation to art.

My recent projects include Clipping the Church by Tereza Buskova (2016) and an art strand of Artloop Festival in Sopot, Poland (2015). As the Programme Curator and Co Director of PEA I developed the concept of its gallery Centrala, focused on showing artists from Central and Eastern Europe in the UK (2010 – 2014).
I have authored several articles concerning art  in magasines and exhibition catalogues. I also produce content for my Youtube channel.  I vlog about art, things I do professionally and from places I go to. Subscribe to my channel for the latest art geeky stuff!
